Moscow - Bangkok: how long to fly

Direct flights from Moscow to Bangkok are operated by Transaero and Aeroflot. Travel time is 8 hours 45 minutes. Of course, these are the most expensive flights - it is cheaper to get there with transfers, but it can take quite a long time. Let's figure out how long to fly from Moscow to Bangkok with other airlines:

  • Etihad Airways - from 12 hours 40 minutes on the way, transfer to Abu Dhabi (from 1 hour);
  • Air China - from 19 hours 35 minutes on the way, transfer in Beijing (from 7 hours);
  • S7 - from 14.5 hours on the way, transfer in Novosibirsk (from 2.5 hours);
  • Qatar Airways - from 13.5 hours on the way, transfer in Doha (from 2 hours);
  • Air India - from 14.5 hours on the way, transfer to Delhi (from 4.5 hours);
  • Emirates - from 14 hours on the way, transfer in Dubai (from 3 hours);
  • Uzbekistan Airways - from 16 hours on the way, transfer in Tashkent (from 6.5 hours);
  • China Southern - from 15 hours on the way, transfer to Guangzhou (from 2.5 hours);
  • China Eastern - from 15 hours 40 minutes on the way, transfer in Shanghai (from 2.5 hours).

In addition, Turkish Airlines, Air Astana, Korean Air, Finnair, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa and others fly from Moscow to Bangkok with transfers.

From St. Petersburg to Bangkok

Unfortunately, there are no direct flights from St. Petersburg. Almost the same airlines fly direct from St. Petersburg to Bangkok as from Moscow. How long to fly depends on how many transfers are en route and how long they will take.

Novosibirsk - Bangkok: how long to fly

How long is the flight from Novosibirsk to Bangkok? S7 has a direct flight - the flight will take 7.5 hours. If you plan to fly with transfers, the travel time will depend on the duration of the transfer:

  • combined S7 and Air China flights - travel time - from 21.5 hours, transfer in Beijing (from 12 hours);
  • Combined flights of S7 and Thai Airways - travel time - from 21.5 hours, transfer in Beijing (from 12 hours);
  • Aeroflot - travel time - from 16 hours, transfer in Moscow (from 3 hours);
  • Combined flights of Transaero + Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways and UTair - travel time - from 12.5 hours, transfer in Beijing, Phuket and Moscow, respectively.

How long to fly from Yekaterinburg to Thailand

Transaero flies directly from Yekaterinburg to Bangkok (from 8 hours on the way). How long to fly to Bangkok with transfers:

  • Aeroflot - from 14 hours on the way, transfer in Moscow (from 2.5 hours);
  • combined flights "Transaero" + Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways - from 16 hours on the way, transfer in Phuket (from 6.5 hours);
  • Combined flights from Flydubai and Emirates - from 18 hours on the way, transfer in Dubai (from 6.5 hours);
  • Finnair - from 23 hours on the way, transfer in Helsinki (from 10 hours).

From other cities in Russia to Thailand

From other cities of Russia, for example, from Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Vladivostok, it is more difficult to fly away than from the capital or St. Petersburg. There are either no direct flights, or very few.

From Krasnoyarsk

There are no direct flights from Krasnoyarsk to Bangkok, but there are a lot of flights with transfers:

  • Aeroflot - on the way from 22.5 hours, transfer in Moscow (from 8.5 hours);
  • Combined flights S7 + Thai Airways, Air China: travel time - from 14 hours, transfer in Beijing (from 5 hours);
  • also eats a lot of flights with two transfers, for example, S7 (in Moscow and Abu Dhabi) - flight time from 1 day.

From Irkutsk

On board S7, it takes only 5.5 hours to fly from Irkutsk to Bangkok. It will take much more time with transfers: for example, if you fly with Aeroflot with a transfer in Moscow, it will take 20 hours or more. Travel time with "Transaero" - from 1 day (transfer in Moscow - from 9 hours). There are quite a few combined flights and flights with two connections.

From Vladivostok

You can fly from Vladivostok to Bangkok only with transfers (or two), there are no direct flights. How long to fly to Bangkok depends on the transfer:
